For those of you who believe lawyers have no place in Heaven, you should meet Scott Grabel. He is an exception to the rule! I was assigned a Public Defender who never knew or called me by my name and instead of defending me, he was preparing me to face a twenty year sentence. It did not matter to him that I was innocent of all but one minor offense. Mr. Grabel offered to take over my case because he had prior knowledge of my involvement with a case he had just won with a full dismissal. Last year my son and his fiancée were driving a TR TR Truck in MI and my son was ticketed for driving in the wrong lane. The traffic ticket was paid but then one year later they were both thrown to the ground at their job in Florida and arrested on a fugitive felony warrant issued by the State of MI. After several days of incarceration they finally learned they had been accused of a drug violation and operating a meth lab in the truck. We were all horrified and helpless having no idea what to do; they were held in jail without bond for 5 days then extradited from FL to MI in shackles and cuffs for another 5 days. Calling someone a fugitive who’s lived at the same address for 38 years is wrong!

I found a web site for Scott Grabel & Assoc and emailed my contact information immediately because I had to start somewhere. I never expected a response so late at night and on a weekend. It was 10:00 PM on a Friday night when Mr. Grabel called and he was in constant contact with me from that call to the DISMISSAL of our case. He was compassionate and available to accept my calls spending his valuable time reassuring me.

Finding Mr. Grabel was a blessing from the beginning to the expedited end. It was amazing how he moved mountains to set my family free. From the time they arrived in MI, Scott worked the judicial system to our advantage with skill and legal expertise. He was a stranger who quickly became our best friend and ally. A hearing was scheduled for Monday, August 16th and we watched and listened as our prepared, articulate, skilled criminal defense attorney took control of the courtroom; bond was approved, drastically reduced and with pending felony charges, they were being allowed to return to FL.

Within a few minutes our attorney met us with a bondsman in tow; in less than an hour I was standing in front of the jail hugging my son. We only had two days to get as much done as we could. Mr. Grabel is so well connected all over MI. He arranged a polygraph test for the next day with one of the most reputable technicians in the entire state. The test confirmed what Mr. Grabel had already predicted, my son was innocent and all charges would be dismissed. He believed in my son’s innocence and aggressively represented him. Everything happened exactly like Scott repeatedly told me it would.

From my first telephone call to Scott Grabell & Associates I was so impressed with his integrity, his legal knowledge and the gracious, supportive attitude toward his clients if they are guilty or innocent. We live out of state. While our our son was driving to Michigan for a music festival he got pulled over and was charged with marijuana-related crimes. I contaced Scott Grabel and he got back to me immediately and within minutes my son had legal representation. Scott's associate -- Bob Hackett -- represented our son, and he was successful in obtaining the best possible outcome for our son to avoid anything on his record. The attorneys were excellent at being accessible during a difficult time for us, and all my phone calls were either answered immediately or returned promptly. I needed an attorney to help with a DUI, so I looked in the yellow pages and called several firms. Scott Grabel and Associates was the only firm that virtually guaranteed that I could be successful at getting my driver's license back. The firm was great at letting me know what I needed to do, and supported me every step of the way. Marcie was my direct contact, and was wonderful at getting with me, and making sure every detail was taken care of. I am currently using them again to get my license back permanently. I have every confidence that they will make it happen. They are thorough and do what they say they will do. I would never have a hesitation to refer anyone to them for any criminal issue.

I can never thank Sott Grabel and associates enough,words can't say it. My son was arrested this past year,and charged with some very, very serious accusations. Sick with fright, I opened the phone book and his advertised page jumped out at me,this was the man to call. My call was quickly returned and after our conversation I was 100% sure to hire them and felt very hopeful. His lawyer, Bill Hackett was great and dedicated to my son' case. I am a 60 year old grandmother who never had any dealings with the legal system. An accusation was made against me for sexual misconduct against a minor. I spoke to my sister who was a trained legal assistant and she told me to call Mr. Grabel. That was the best advise I have ever had.

I called Mr. Grabel and told him about the accusations. He was very kind and patiently listened to me while I was crying and could hardly say a coherent word. Mr. Grabel assigned my case to one of his associates, Mr. Bill Hackett. Mr. Hackett arranged for me to take two separate polygraph tests which I passed. Mr. Hackett spoke to the social worker investigating the false claim against me and sent the results of both polygraphs to the case worker. The false accusations against me were dropped.

Hopefully I will never have to seek legal counsel again, but if I do, my first and only call will be to Grabel and Associates. Thank you for returning normalcy to my life.

My father who is elderly, frail, and suffering from mild Alzheimer Dementia needed a lawyer. I traveled 200 miles and stayed in a motel for the hearing expecting charges to be dropped but they weren't . I was from out of town, had to leave the next day and didn't know who to call. I said a prayer and checked the yellow pages. I found Scott. I called in tears and was directed to an attorney in MY area who met me at MY house at MY convenience.We discussed the case and after reassuring me that my father wouldn't be put in jail he contacted an associate in my fathers area to represent him. The attorney was wonderful, stayed in touch with me every step of way saving me hundreds in travel expenses and alleviating my stress. The attorney was great with my father walking him though every thing like he was his own father. Just as they expected all the charges were dropped and the person who filed the false report may be facing charges of their own!

The legal system is not my area of expertise. Attorney Scott Grabel saved my life. When I was pulled over and charged with a DUI I found out that the law has changed.

What would have been a misdemeanor is now a Felony! You are now charged with all offenses for drinking and driving in a life time being counted together. Drinking and driving offenses from 20 years ago or more are counted together and if you have two others in a life time, impaired or otherwise, you are charged with a felony. With the changing of the motor vehicle code and the new laws against drinking and driving, you are now facing one to five years in prison. You need Scott Grabel to fight for you.

I contacted many Attorneys. Most were indifferent. All were willing to take thousands of dollars from me and to roll over for the Prosecutor to deliver me to prison. I was not nor am I a criminal. But the laws have been changed and I was in over my head. Scared and trying to find someone to champion my case I am grateful I found, “Grabel & Associates.”

His expertise saved me. He explained everything and answered any questions I had. Most importantly he fought for me. He did not lie down and roll over to let the system rail road me. If I had counted on a public defender I may as well have put my head between my legs and kiss my ass goodbye.

I lost my Driver License 13 years ago in Michigan. Today my Driver License has been fully restored in the State of Florida. It was issued with the words "Safe Driver" on the bottom of the license. As a former Legal Administrator I felt confident I could defend myself. I was unsuccessful in 3 attempts. I thought there was little hope. I was bogged down in red-tape getting denied for technicalities. I was living out of state and it became a nightmare. I decided to hire an attorney. After using Scott Grabel & Associates, I can now say with a certainty that there is such a thing as a quality defense attorney in the state of Michigan. This is my first ever online review, but I felt compelled to get the word out; this firm will actually WORK hard for you. They dug in to my problem and ultimately found an obscure legal ruling to get me out of potentially ruinous situation.

I hired Mr. Grabel's firm after my initial attorney seemed disinterested in my case. If I am paying for professional services (especially when facing a legal matter), I demand that I am treated as a valuable client. After switching to Grabel and Associates, that is exactly how I was treated. My questions were answered, I was consoled when worried or agitated, and I always left a conversation knowing that I was in good hands.

Mr. Grabel, himself, spent some time looking at my issues and approached them from every angle imaginable. It was that willingness to think outside the box and to dig in to my case which ultimately resulted in my exoneration.

2 HYTA"s by 2 HYTA probations at Citysearch

When I was 17 i found myself with four felonys. This is when i first came into contact with the number one defense attorny in the state of michigan Mr.Grabel. He got me H.Y.T.A probation status which, after i completed the probation i would have a clean record. I cought a new case 2 months after i got the probation, in turn i violated the probation that he got me. the judge put me on a gps tether. after about a month and a half on the tether i decided that it would be a good idea to just cut it off and go on the run. so i ran for about a month and then Mr.Grabel talked me into turning myself in. i did what he advised and, he talked the judge into just allowing me to put my tether back on. in july of 2009 i dropped dirty and violated probation again. the judge decided to give me 6 months in the HYTA prison. which didnt compare to how much time i could of gotten. when i got out i still had my hyta probaion and was still fighting my new case. in june of 2010 Mr.Grabel talked the judge into giving me a second HYTA probation while i was still on it in another county. If i had any other lawyer i would have atleast 10 years in prison no doubt. Mr.Grabel is a miricle lawyer that saved my life completely. If you ever get cought up in a case Mr.Grabel is definately worth every single penny that you give him.

On new years eve a few vindictive co-workers had their boyfriends attack me at a local bar....one of which was a police officer... they filed a police report against me stating I attacked one of them unprovoked... I was 8 months pregnant when my husband was arrested and charged with 2 felonies and a midemeanor. I was scared to death that I would not have him home for the birth of our daughter. See he was on probation at the time and in our county if you are charged with a new crime you stay in jail until your court date no matter what. I had heard of Scott Grabel and had his home number.
